Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Director, Office of Civil Rights Compliance in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a non‑bargaining unit position. Qualifications You qualify for the GS‑13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS‑12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Evaluating trends and changes in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, policies and principles that may impact program efforts. Conducting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) training for employees, supervisors, and/or managers. Processing and managing a caseload of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) pre‑complaints and complaints. Identifying and articulating legal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) claims raised by employees and applicants. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. National Service Experience Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
