The role is responsible for evaluation of care, treatment and services provided by all unit staff members and others i.e. providers, ancillary staff, and students. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager serves as a positive role model and sets the tone for the clinic’s reputation and performance. The Ambulatory Nurse Manager provides 24/7 leadership and management in the areas of customer satisfaction, provision of safe & effective care, fiscal responsibility, human resources, patient advocacy, performance improvement.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) preferredThree (3) years of experienceClinical nursing leadership experience preferredCurrent Registered Nurse License in the State of GeorgiaBasic Life Support (BLS).Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required for the following areas with 90-days or employment or transfer:All Critical Care areasEmergency Care Center (ECC/ED)GI/Cath LaboratoryLabor & DeliveryAll Intermediate Care areasPost Acute Care Unite (PACU)Core CompetenciesThese competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
