What You Will Do (The "Heart Work")

You won't just be a staff member; you will be a bridge to the community. Your goal is to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live happy, independent lives.

· Be a Companion: Offer friendship, conversation, and encouragement.

· Be a Coach: Help individuals learn new skills, pursue their personal goals, and engage with their community.

· Be a Support: assist with daily living activities, health, and safety, always prioritizing their dignity.

What You Need to Bring

· Age: Must be 18 years or older.

· Attitude: Reliable, compassionate, and ready to listen.

· Clearance: Willingness to undergo a standard background check.

· Transport: A valid driver’s license is preferred to help get our clients out into the community!

A Note on Experience: While prior experience in caregiving, personal support, or disability services is a plus, it is not required. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach.
