Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory records, process inventory transactions, and support accurate materials control within a manufacturing environment. This is an office-based position, requiring professional communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced business setting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Perform inventory transactions using scan guns and barcode scanners.
- Process inventory adjustments, substitutions, and related system updates.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory data and prepare reports as needed.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report inventory information, including Pivot Tables.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations, including equations, addition, and subtraction.
- Communicate inventory-related information clearly with internal teams.
- Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all business interactions.
- Support other administrative and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with inventory control processes.
- Experience using scan guns or barcode scanners.
- Knowledge of inventory adjustments and substitutions.
- Basic math proficiency, including equations, addition, and subtraction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attendance and reliability history.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and accountability.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong professional communication skills and business conduct.
- Ability to work comfortably and professionally in an office environment.
