Oncology Regional Sales Director

Responsibilities Be responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district. Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies. Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs. Compliantly drive sales objectives to meet and exceed corporate forecast. Develop deep product and competitor knowledge, as well as an understanding of local and regional market trends. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (Advanced Degree Preferred). 7+ years of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience, with experience in the Oncology marketplace required. 2+ years of regional Oncology field management experience. Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, implementation, and cross‑functional team management. Ability to hire, lead, coach and mentor high‑performing teams. Ability to meet travel demands – 70% time in the field; additional travel may be required. Salary & Benefits The annual base salary ranges from $195,000 to $205,000, with additional compensation such as commissions/bonus, possible company car or allowance, and eligibility for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, flexible paid time off, and sick time.
