Medical Laboratory Scientist Laboratory
Schedule: Nights (2100 - 0730) every other weekend
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required upon submission.
- Experience with Epic, Antibody IDs, Emergency blood banking, Ortho Vitros 5600.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to aid in diagnosis.
- Process tests for hospital inpatients, emergency room patients, and outpatient specimens.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA and CAP accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss results and assist in patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must be available for background checks and drug screenings.
- Dress code to be followed as per facility guidelines.
