Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Queens, New York and minutes away from Manhattan has a full time opening for a Board-Certified Endocrinologist.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical standards
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their condition and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of endocrinology
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of residency training in internal medicine or endocrinology
- Board certification or eligibility in endocrinology
- Valid medical license to practice in NYS

We have a fully accredited Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Fellowship Programs and provide care in most medical and surgical subspecialty areas including interventional cardiology, dialysis and sleep medicine
With over 120, 000 ER visits, The ER is designated as a Level 1 trauma center and the Stroke Certified is certified by NYS . Our Chest Pain Center offers immediate evaluation and the recently expanded Pediatric ED is equipped to handle the most critical cases. and supported by one of the largest voluntary ambulance fleet serving the City 911 system.
