Compensation: $320,000/year
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)


TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Endocrinologist in Staten Island, NY for our client, supporting comprehensive endocrinology care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This physician will evaluate and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions while providing inpatient consultations and ongoing outpatient care. The role includes scheduled inpatient coverage and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams.


Responsibilities as the Endocrinologist:

• Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Outpatient Endocrinology: Provide ongoing endocrinology care, treatment planning, and disease management in an outpatient setting.
• Inpatient Consultations: Provide endocrinology consultations and clinical recommendations for hospitalized patients.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems.
• Coverage Support: Participate in scheduled inpatient and weekend coverage based on clinical needs.

Qualifications for the Endocrinologist:

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Licensure: Active New York State medical license or eligibility for New York licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact is required.
• Certification: Board certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology is required.
• Experience: 1+ year of endocrinology clinical experience, including fellowship training, is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience providing inpatient consultations and outpatient endocrinology care is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and clinical documentation is required.
