Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Form Carpenters for projects located in the Jacksonville, FL area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is prevailing wage at $36.93/hour. Job Scope:
- Build and install temporary concrete forms for slab construction
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Cut, bend, place, and tie rebar and wire mesh to specifications
- Assist with constructing and reinforcing a 1-acre concrete slab
- Grade and prepare concrete surfaces
Requirements
- Previous experience with concrete formwork and rebar installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Clean background
- Must have all necessary PPE and trade tools, including:
- Tape measure
- Finishing trowel
- Metal shears
- Standard hand tools for the trade
