Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM | On-site | Call required (1 Friday/Saturday/Sunday rotation plus 1 additional weekday per week each month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU setting, managing Phase 1 post-anesthesia recovery
• Perform preoperative and pre-admission testing (Preop/PAT) functions in addition to PACU duties
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio in an 8-bed PACU unit
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Support surgical cases including orthopedic, sports/joint, and robotic general surgery procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Phase 1 PACU experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to fulfill required call obligations including weekend and weekday rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Preoperative or pre-admission testing (Preop/PAT) experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Background in orthopedic, joint, or robotic surgical case support
