About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (16 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | 40 Hours per Week | Weekend requirement: One 8-hour Saturday shift per month | Holiday rotation as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative nursing care for electively scheduled surgical patients
• Provide postoperative nursing care for patients undergoing procedures requiring less than a 24-hour stay
• Manage patient care within a 36-bed Recovery Care unit at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PACU or perioperative care setting
• Familiarity with preoperative and postoperative patient care protocols
