I have a great client in Wagoner, Oklahoma actively hiring a permanent ICU RN . Here is more information:


The ICU RN provides patient care using the nursing process and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care, document patient progress, and facilitate discharge with referrals and education.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and internal staff.
• Participate in unit goals through education, in-services, and quality initiatives.
• Provide care including IV management, pain control, ventilator support, cardiac monitoring, and more.
• Assist in procedures (e.g., thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement).
• Collaborate with support services like respiratory therapy, dietitians, and pharmacy.

More information:

• Shift: 3x12s
• 30-bed unit with Intensivist coverage.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year in ICU/PCU (not ER experience)
• ADN or ASN degree
• Valid RN License (multi-state or Oklahoma)
• BLS certification
