Sales Representative

This is a fast-paced and highly autonomous position for a true sales professional with a strong strategic mindset. This role requires deep experience in coffee, coffee-adjacent, or CPG sales, along with a strong track record as a Sales Representative. You are responsible for a go-to-market strategy that will land new accounts, increase customer loyalty, improve account retention, build distribution growth, and improve company profitability. You will actively prospect and close new accounts while continuing to build relationships with existing customers, distributors, and partners across the channel. You will oversee the management and development of your expanded territory, not just the city or state you reside in. This role will be responsible for on premise customers and new business in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. We are specifically looking for someone who resides in either Nashville, TN, Miami, FL, Charlotte NC, or Atlanta, GA.

You'll be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Lily Andrea. Our sales team is focused across 3 channels; On Premise (cafe and foodservice), National Foodservice (corporate dining contracts, large chain), and Off Premise (retail grocery). We are all coffee people and are very immersed in the coffee community nationwide but we are equally as passionate about all of our customers and segments of business!

Although the North American team is remote, we are a very close knit bunch. We might be a small team but we have a ton of drive and truly believe in our products. We like to build lasting relationships within our team as well as with our customers.

Some core skills and experience if you'll humor us?

• Relevant sales & business development experience within the Cafe channel
• Deep knowledge of the area/geography in the Southeast US.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and deep understanding of early-stage business
• Strong experience in developing, owning and driving market-level KPIs at various levels of an end client.
• Highly organized around project // time management
• Must be adept and comfortable in data management: MS Office Suite, Slack, Google Suite, and CRM
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Due to this job being active within the field, there are some physical job requirements

• Able to be in the field 5-days per week
• Able to travel overnight, up to 25%, for trade shows, company meetings, or sales related activity etc.
• Reliable means to get to and from client locations
• Willing and able to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs

This role requires residence in either Nashville, Charlotte, Miami, or Atlanta. There will be required travel for account visits and events throughout the territory.

This role is a full time exempt role working 40 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday-Friday between 9:00am- 5:00pm with flexibility for events/trade shows and other work related travel that may occur on weekends.
