Assistant Town Clerk/Tax Collector
The Town of Farmington is seeking a skilled, proactive and motivated candidates to assist and support the Town Clerk/Tax Collector in day-to-day operations, as well as providing direct customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Motor Vehicle Registrations
- Processing and maintaining vital records
- Property tax and utility payment collections
- Processing dog licenses
- Assisting with the administration of Local and State elections.
What We're Looking For:
- A highly organized, flexible, self-starter with strong multi-tasking, customer service and math skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate does not have to be a Farmington resident, but it is preferred.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office and money handling experience preferred
Starting Pay: $19.00 $21.00 per hour
Hours: Part-Time, 21.5 hours per week, Monday & Tuesday 8:15 a.m. 5:15 p.m. and Friday 8:15 12:45 p.m. Location: Farmington, New Hampshire
