Salary $100,000 - $125,000 per year A Bit About Us We are a growing, employee-owned contractor seeking an Assistant Controller to support day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in company-wide systems and process improvement. This position offers hands-on involvement with executive leadership and a realistic path to a future Controller role. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Viewpoint Vista, have construction experience, and be able to lead with our implementation. Why join us? We value our people and have a true work-life balance. 100% employee-owned company with long-term wealth potential Fast-growing markets in the Southwest and Mountain West Competitive compensation, professional development, and education support Job Details What You’ll Do Lead ERP implementation tasks, including chart of accounts, master file setup, workflow documentation, and training for field and office teams Support monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial reporting Ensure proper job cost coding across labor, equipment, and project transactions Assist with Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and revenue recognition Work with operations to monitor project performance, cash flow, and cost trends Provide AP/AR support and assist with payroll compliance (prevailing wage, certified payroll, union reporting) Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and cross-department collaboration What You Bring 5+ years using Viewpoint Vista (ERP experience is a MUST) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of construction accounting fundamentals (job cost, WIP, revenue recognition) Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial reporting tools Ability to work with field teams and internal stakeholders Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, or training is a plus For an immediate response, please email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io We are beta-testing a new AI Assistant and you may receive a call from "Jeni" - please be patient as we work through this new process; she will pass her notes to our recruiters, and if you are a great fit, they will be reaching out for more information Interested in hearing more?
