Occupational Therapist (OT) Contract Position

Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 5 days a week.

Job Description: Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) with a minimum of 2 years recent inpatient experience in an acute care setting. As an OT, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy interventions tailored to adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluate patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient OT experience in an acute care facility.
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
