VP Audience Development

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a VP Audience Development in New York, NY.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Audience Development to lead audience growth, engagement, retention, and fandom development strategies across multiple content brands and platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing audience growth initiatives, leveraging analytics and consumer insights, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to expand reach, deepen audience engagement, and drive long-term viewership. The ideal candidate combines expertise in audience strategy, lifecycle marketing, analytics, digital engagement, and performance measurement with strong leadership and business partnership skills.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and execute comprehensive audience growth and engagement strategies* Create audience development plans that drive awareness, engagement, retention, and long-term audience loyalty* Build audience acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing programs* Develop measurable growth initiatives with defined KPIs and success metrics* Analyze audience behavior, engagement, reach, retention, sentiment, and performance trends* Establish dashboards, reporting frameworks, and audience measurement processes* Utilize data and analytics to identify audience growth opportunities and optimize performance* Partner with Marketing, Programming, Research, Product, Digital, Social, and Advertising teams to maximize audience development efforts* Manage agency relationships, external partners, and audience growth initiatives* Improve content discoverability, metadata quality, and audience engagement across platforms* Develop operational frameworks, playbooks, and best practices to support scalable audience growth programs* Present audience insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadershipRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Analytics, or related field* 8+ years of experience in audience development, marketing, analytics, digital media, consumer engagement, or related disciplines* Strong experience developing audience acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies* Experience analyzing audience performance metrics and consumer behavior data* Experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive reporting* Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external partners* Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills* Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking abilities* Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:* Experience within media, entertainment, streaming, television, publishing, or digital content organizations* Experience with CRM, lifecycle marketing, and audience analytics platforms* Familiarity with streaming, digital platforms, social media analytics, and audience attribution methodologies* Experience with metadata optimization, content discoverability, and audience growth initiatives* Experience leading large-scale consumer engagement or brand growth programsKey Competencies:* Audience Development* Audience Growth Strategy* Consumer Insights & Analytics* Audience Acquisition & Retention* Lifecycle Marketing* Performance Measurement* KPI Development & Reporting* Digital & Social Strategy* Audience Engagement* Strategic Planning* Leadership & Team Development* Cross-Functional PartnershipJob TypeContractCompensation132 - $132
