Client Support Specialist

Randstad is seeking an experienced Client Support Specialist for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and scheduling customer orders via phone and email while managing order workflows, logistics coordination, and customer relationships across nationwide facilities. The ideal candidate adapts quickly to changing priorities and can rapidly master a proprietary order entry and billing system.  This position is 100% in the office. Hours are 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday What we are looking for:

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone and email to provide product/service information, enter orders, handle rescheduling or cancellations, and update account details.

• Accurately enter and process orders in the proprietary management system, schedule requested services, and issue confirmation summaries to clients.

• Understand customer shipping requirements across multiple facilities nationwide, evaluate potential delivery delays (e.g., severe weather), and coordinate closely with plant operations to align shipments.

• Maintain thorough logs of customer inquiries, requests, and resolutions; investigate order or delivery issues, report claim findings, and escalate unresolved grievances to appropriate departments

• Partner effectively with internal teams—including sales, accounting, plant operations, and regulatory compliance officers—to resolve operational or compliance-related inquiries.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to packaging, shipping, billing, or service workflows to optimize efficiency and prevent future issues.
