The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health statusDevelop and implement treatment plansOrder and interpret diagnostic testsPrescribe medications and other treatmentsProvide patient education and counselingCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated careMaintain accurate and complete medical recordsParticipate in quality improvement initiativesAdhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practiceQualificationsMaster's degree in nursing or physician assistant studiesCurrent state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistantCertification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistantExperience in primary care, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living facilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
