ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Job Description

The Transducer Assembler is responsible for assembling, soldering, testing, and reworking transducers and mechanical components using blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. This role requires strong mechanical assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand tools and soldering equipment.

• Assemble and rework transducers and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Use soldering irons, crimpers, and hand tools to complete assemblies.
• Perform quality checks and make assembly adjustments as needed.
• Calculate and mix material ratios accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean/5S initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of mechanical assembly and soldering experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• ITAR eligibility (U.S. Person requirement).

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Familiarity with wires, crimpers, and assembly tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.

• Manufacturing facility in a team-oriented setting.
• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, with overtime opportunities.
• Work performed at an individual workstation using soldering equipment, hand tools, and computers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Poway, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
