VISN 6 Network Homeless Program Manager

The VISN 6 Network Homeless Program Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and oversight of the complexity of Homeless Programs on VISN 6 campuses and in the communities to include: Housing and Urban Development-VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH), Grant and Per Diem (GPO), Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Residential Services (CRS), Homeless-Patient Aligned Care Teams (H-PACT) Support Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), and Veterans Justice Programs (VJP). Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

• Leads the development of network-wide guidelines for program standardization of data capture and service delivery for Homeless Programs
• Responsible for developing mechanism for monitoring compliance with associated performance measures as well as developing a system for standardized outcome assessment across programs.
• Ensures that legislative directives on homelessness are implemented.
• Develops and recommends guidelines and criteria for proper staffing, equipment and facilities for new and existing Homeless Programs in coordination with the VISN 6 Chief Medical Officer, VISN 6 Chief Mental Health Officer, National Homeless Program Office and other entities as appropriate.
• Conducts and analyzes studies and projects fundamental to planning, programming and budgeting of Homeless resources such as forecasts of technological changes, bed utilization, future patient workloads, staffing projections and cost comparisons.
• Makes proposals to the VISN Chief Mental Health Officer and the VISN Chief Medical Officer.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
