Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role preferred
• Ability to work effectively with children and educators
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to assist students with varying needs and backgrounds
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to student success
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work the scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with lesson implementation and classroom activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students
• Help manage classroom behavior and foster an inclusive atmosphere
• Support students with special needs under teacher direction
• Prepare materials and assist with classroom organization
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, or recess as needed

Schedule & Commitment:

• Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, weekdays
• August to May academic calendar
• Standard elementary classroom setting, including special education environments

Pay for this role is $40 per hour, reflecting the value of your support and dedication.
