Support classroom learning and make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential assistance as a Paraprofessional. This contract role is active from August through May, offering the opportunity to work closely with educators and students in a welcoming classroom environment. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

You'll be joining a supportive setting near Blytheville, focusing on elementary-aged students. The position primarily involves classroom support which may include working in special education environments and assisting with a diverse range of student behaviors. Your ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere will be highly valued.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in classroom support roles is highly desirable
• Ability to assist students with varying needs, including special education support
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Patience and adaptability when responding to students' diverse behavioral dynamics
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or completed coursework a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support alongside classroom teachers
• Assist students with academics and classroom activities
• Support students’ personal and social needs in and out of the classroom
• Help maintain a structured, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Supervise students during classroom, hallway transitions, and designated activities
