Senior Product Manager

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager II to own the product vision, roadmap, and platform experiences for Compass’ Agent Ledger Platform and Financial Groupings. This space represents an exciting 0 to 1 opportunity, bringing highly nuanced and complex financial workflows onto the Compass platform for the first time to enable Compass International Holdings’ business model at scale for both company owned brokerages and affiliates. Responsibilities Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to UX design, development, and launch for products in the Agent Ledger and Financial Grouping spaces, which spans many teams across Compass’ ‘Transaction Journey,’ including contracts, commissions, and payments. Partner across Product & Engineering squads with the end‑to‑end transaction lifecycle teams, managing and executing a roadmap of innovative, scalable, and effective products and features. Collaborate with cross‑functional business teams and stakeholders to define product requirements that balance business and user needs, including accounting and finance teams to ensure the platform supports legal and security requirements. Lead the annual and quarterly planning cycles for the agent ledger and financial groupings workflows, in partnership with Engineering, including gathering cross‑functional inputs and determining resource prioritization. Own critical 3P platform integrations with providers like Oracle Fusion, to ensure proper commissions and payments processing. Qualifications A successful candidate will thrive on cross‑functional collaboration, deeply understanding complex business use cases, and bringing those intuitively to life in the product. Understanding the big‑picture impact of decisions — supported by data — is your superpower and you seek to optimize for scalability and repeatability across your product area. Your communication skills are impeccable and you enjoy rallying stakeholders, including executives and larger groups, to find consensus and even compromise. You can think on the fly and not only apply but communicate and rationalize prioritization decisions. You have extensive product management experience, ideally serving a variety of user types and in backgrounds including FinTech, or financial services/products. A proven track record of ownership, thoroughness, proactivity, and ability to deliver on cross‑functional efforts. Ability to simplify complex accounting and architectural logic into standardized, easy‑to‑use APIs and UI components for upstream product teams. Proficiency in analyzing high‑stakes transaction data to manage risk and ensure data integrity during migration periods. A deep sense of user empathy and demonstrated ability to build experiences that users love. BS in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent strongly preferred. Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from disparate sources, going beyond users requests to get to key user needs, and the ability to rationalize across and resolve stakeholder differences. Experience designing, implementing, and managing API‑based data integrations, with a deep understanding of technical specifications, error handling, and scalability considerations to optimize product functionality. Strong consensus and relationship‑building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization. A propensity to and comfort with using data paired with customer/stakeholder feedback and needs to ruthlessly prioritize your team’s bandwidth. 6+ years experience in product management roles building and launching successful products. Strong technical background, either from academic, engineering, or hands‑on product development experience, with an ability to assess and contribute to engineering discussions related to a product.
