Part-Time Radiographer

Performing radiographic exams following protocols and proper positioning Providing patient education on procedures and positioning Practicing radiation safety to minimize exposure Assisting with basic patient care, triaging, and discharge tasks Measuring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature Conducting simple lab procedures like EKGs, urine collection, and nasal swabs Role: Radiographer Responsibilities Include Performing radiographic exams following protocols and proper positioning Providing patient education on procedures and positioning Practicing radiation safety to minimize exposure Assisting with basic patient care, triaging, and discharge tasks Measuring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature Conducting simple lab procedures like EKGs, urine collection, and nasal swabs Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent and completion of an approved R.T program Current ARRT certification, Maryland State Radiographer License, and CPR certification Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred Skills And Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy Proficiency with x-ray equipment Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation and flexibility to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Compensation And Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $35-$40, with overtime opportunities $2,500 sign-on bonus for full‑time roles Full benefits including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) Opportunities for career growth within the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
