Radiographer - Full Time

Performing Radiographic Exams: Taking x-rays following protocols and proper positioning Patient Education: Explaining procedures and positioning to patients Radiation Safety: Applying safety measures to minimize exposure Basic Patient Care: Assisting with triaging, discharge, and related tasks as workflow permits Vital Signs & Lab Procedures: Measuring vital signs, performing simple tests like EKGs, urine collection, and nasal swabs Role: Radiographer Responsibilities Include Performing Radiographic Exams: Taking x-rays following protocols and proper positioning Patient Education: Explaining procedures and positioning to patients Radiation Safety: Applying safety measures to minimize exposure Basic Patient Care: Assisting with triaging, discharge, and related tasks as workflow permits Vital Signs & Lab Procedures: Measuring vital signs, performing simple tests like EKGs, urine collection, and nasal swabs Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program Current ARRT certification, Maryland Radiographer License, and CPR certification Preferred: At least one year of clinical experience in healthcare settings Skills & Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy Proficiency with x-ray equipment Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation and flexibility to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay ranging from $35-$40 plus overtime opportunities Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health insurance, and 401(k) with company match Opportunities for professional growth within the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetted Solutions
