Senior Managing Consultant - Clinical Quality Improvement - Healthcare

The Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) provides end‑to‑end advisory support to healthcare providers, payers, investors and other stakeholders navigating complex strategic, operational, financial and clinical challenges. Responsibilities Lead the delivery of complex, multi‑workstream clinical quality and performance transformation engagements, partnering directly with hospital executive leadership. Own end‑to‑end work‑plan execution, coordinating cross‑functional teams and driving accountability to achieve measurable clinical quality, operational and financial outcomes. Translate strategic objectives into practical, implementable solutions that can be operationalized by physicians, nursing leaders and frontline teams. Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with physicians and clinical leaders to drive adoption of evidence‑based practices and consistent standards of care. Lead implementation efforts across quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, sepsis, surgical quality, complications, mortality, readmissions and performance scorecards. Guide hospitals in optimizing performance on national quality and public reporting programs, including CMS Care Comparisons and other regulatory and benchmarking frameworks. Support regulatory readiness and ongoing compliance related to CMS, state health departments and other oversight bodies. Translate complex clinical, operational and performance data into clear, actionable insights for C‑suite leaders and governing bodies. Monitor progress against defined metrics and scorecards, ensuring initiatives deliver sustained outcomes beyond initial implementation. Build, lead and mentor high‑performing project teams, fostering strong collaboration, accountability and results orientation. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior hospital and health‑system leaders, particularly in complex or resource‑constrained environments. Qualifications Minimum of 7+years of experience in acute‑care or healthcare settings with a strong emphasis on hospital operations, clinical quality, performance improvement and transformation. Bachelor’s degree required in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management or a closely related field. Advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MSN, MBA or similar) preferred. Professional certifications (e.g., CPHQ, CIC, Lean/Six Sigma) preferred. Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale implementation initiatives, including assessments, strategy design and execution. Proven ability to partner effectively with physicians, nursing leaders and executive teams to drive change and adoption of evidence‑based practices. Strong working knowledge of hospital operations, EMR systems, quality metrics and performance scorecards. Experience building, leading and developing high‑performing teams focused on patient outcomes, quality and operational performance. Excellent executive communication, facilitation and change management skills. Salary and Availability Salary range: $125,000 - $200,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
