About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President / Division Director with a strong background in Federal Business Development and Division Operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying, winning, and managing new business in the Federal Agency marketplace, as well as building a robust pipeline for capture management initiatives. A hands-on approach to business development is essential, and the role requires a proven track record in sales, capture, and operational management within the Federal Sector. The Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining business plans, identifying leads, and executing capture strategies. Additionally, the role involves leading the capture and proposal lifecycle, providing operational oversight for secured contracts, and maintaining relationships with government leaders to secure new client opportunities. Applicants for the Vice President / Division Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' of relevant business development experience in the federal sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading the capture lifecycle, with at least 5 years' of experience in this area, and a proven track record of driving new revenue through successful proposals. A deep understanding of the government contracting process, including the FAR, BPAs, IDIQ, and various contract vehicles, is required. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to problem-solve and negotiate effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also a necessary qualification.
