Shipping Associate Flowers For Cemeteries, Inc. Marietta, GA | Full-time | Starting at $16.00 per hour We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing good work. This is a full-time warehouse position in our shipping department, where every employee helps us get customer orders out accurately and on time. We have a small team, so reliability, initiative, and attention to detail are important. You will begin with general support work while learning our warehouse, products, and shipping processes. Your responsibilities can grow as you become more comfortable and our workload increases. Schedule and pay Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Starting pay: $16.00 per hour Paid holidays and paid time off for eligible employees We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. What you’ll be doing During your first several weeks, your work may include: Keeping the shipping department clean, organized, and stocked. Restocking boxes, labels, tape, inserts, and packing materials. Sorting and stacking completed shipments for carrier pickup. Labeling and organizing inventory locations. Counting products, boxes, or assigned warehouse sections. Consolidating partially empty boxes and storage locations. Assisting with approved product prepacking. Preparing packing materials and other supplies for the shipping team. Helping unload incoming containers and deliveries when scheduled. Reporting low supplies, damaged products, leaks, or safety concerns. Learning our picking, packing, and shipping processes over time. Some days are busier than others. While you are training or when shipping volume is lighter, your main work may be cleaning, organizing, restocking, counting, and preparing the department for upcoming orders. These tasks are an important part of keeping the department running well. What we’re looking for Dependable and punctual. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Pays attention to product names, quantities, labels, and order details. Comfortable completing repetitive tasks without losing accuracy. Able to work independently after receiving clear instructions. Willing to ask questions when something is unclear. Comfortable receiving feedback and learning new processes. Able to move to another familiar task when priorities change. Positive and willing to help the team where needed. Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment. Shipping or warehouse experience is helpful, but it is not required. Reliability, awareness, and willingness to learn are more important to us than having the perfect work history. Forklift certification is not required. Only trained and authorized employees may operate powered warehouse equipment. Physical requirements and work environment This is an active position that requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day. Applicants should be able to lift typical packages weighing up to 30 pounds. Some products or materials may be heavier and should be handled with help or the appropriate equipment. Our warehouse is partially climate-controlled. Summers can be hot, and winters can be cold depending on the weather. Why work here? We’re a small team where everyone’s contribution matters.
