Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations to determine functional status and needs
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Deliver therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes
• Establish discharge plans and communicate care goals to patients and team
• Supervise assigned aides and maintain accurate clinical documentation within deadlines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes in inpatient and outpatient settings

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree; required, with note: license eligibility rules apply (only if licensure obtained after January 2016 or foreign equivalent)
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (California) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital setting, including inpatient and outpatient services
• Willingness to work a day-shift schedule on a 5x8 rotation
