Qualifications and Preferred Background:

• Active OT licensure in Ohio
• Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in schools preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for students with a wide range of abilities and needs
• Effective time management, organizational, and caseload prioritization skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Track progress, adjust strategies, and maintain thorough documentation
• Advocate for students’ success in the classroom through consultations and staff training
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support holistic student development
