Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a rewarding contract position supporting early learners! In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering educational services to students in a PreK and Kindergarten setting, working approximately four hours per day, four days per week, onsite. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate required
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for young children
• In-depth understanding of special education procedures
• Familiarity with PreK and Kindergarten curriculum and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction and interventions to PreK and Kindergarten students with special needs
• Assess student abilities and develop, track, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with school staff, families, and related services to ensure a collaborative approach that meets student needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as appropriate
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
• Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
