Job Description:

Requirements:

• RN licensure in Georgia or Compact
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred experience in Trauma Level I or II and community hospital settings
• Charting system experience: Epic (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Manage a typical patient load of 5 patients per nurse.
• Conduct IV starts and maintenance, including peripheral lines and PICC care.
• Administer oxygen therapy, perform non-invasive airway management, and manage feeding tubes and PCA devices.
• Provide wound care and participate in Rapid Response and Code teams.

Compliance / Notes:

• Full compliance is required to start on time.
• All compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to the start date.
• Orientation hours: 6 hours, with the number of non-billable hours determined by contract length.
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract.
• Holiday expectations include working major holidays as specified in the contract.
