Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician

We are seeking a qualified Endovascular Neurosurgeon for an ongoing, call-only locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This position is structured for two providers to divide monthly specialized call as evenly as possible. It is an excellent opportunity for a specialist looking to provide 7 to 10 days of high-acuity coverage per month.

• Specialty: Neurological Surgery Endovascular Focus
• Start Date: September 23, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call Only (No outpatient clinic duties)
• Monthly Volume: 7 10 days of call per month (may vary slightly by month)

• Shift Times: 24/7 continuous call blocks (7:00 AM on the first day through 7:00 AM on the final day).
• Initial Block Needed: Thursday at 7:00 AM through the following Monday at 7:00 AM.
• Scope of Call: Primarily Endovascular Neurosurgery call, integrated with approximately 4 5 days of general neurosurgery call and 3 4 days of Joplin regional call coverage per month.
• Clinical Expectation: The incoming surgeon must have the full clinical ability to seamlessly transition patients from emergency call directly to the Operating Room (OR) or Interventional Radiology (IR) suite as needed.

• Support Staff: Comprehensive, dedicated on-site Stroke Team.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic
• Credentialing Timeline: 90 Days

• Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Neurological Surgery with dedicated Endovascular fellowship training.
• Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) medical license.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
