Welding Supervisor
Labor One is hiring! Location: Brownsville, TX Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee and coordinate welding activities at our jobsite in Brownsville, TX. The ideal candidate will lead a team of welders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate welding operations on-site, managing a team of welders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee welding procedures, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded components.
- Train and mentor welding staff, providing guidance on techniques and best practices.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule work assignments and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical expertise to resolve welding-related problems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in welding and in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and welding standards.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
