Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist - Occupational Therapy Schedule: Day Shift 8 AM - 5 PM Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Weeks: 13 Requirements:
1. Graduate of a professional course of education, accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
2. Licensed to practice in the state.
3. Ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients and make sound judgments. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs.
- Guide individuals in improving their quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part.
- Consider patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs when developing treatment plans.
- Float to an acute setting as needed for patient care. Compliance / Notes:
- An in-state traveler will not be considered unless they exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility.
- Modality endorsement per state guidelines required.
