Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to improve quality of life after injury, disease, or loss, with consideration for patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.
- Provide outpatient hands-on therapy and float coverage to inpatient acute care as part of an integrated rehabilitation plan.
- Implement treatment plans under supervision, document patient progress, and adjust interventions to maximize independence and safety.
- Educate patients and families about therapy goals, activities, and discharge planning while ensuring cultural sensitivity and patient dignity.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Montana license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association-accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in outpatient hands-on therapy with inpatient float in an acute care setting; modality endorsement per MT Guidelines.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills: amiable, able to exercise sound judgment, and maintain empathetic, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work the listed day shift in a hospital travel assignment and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
