Radiologic Technologist

The radiologic technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. Minimum qualification education/specialized training/licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Current CPR certification. High School Diploma or GED. Special requirements: Communication skills: above average verbal (heavy public contact), writing/composing reports analytical, CRT, and medical terms Work schedule: flexible Equipment operated: ionizing radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment
