Who This Is For Someone who enjoys hands‑on work and seeing a finished product come to life Detail‑oriented individuals who care about accuracy and consistency People who take ownership of their work and want to improve processes Someone who can work independently but also communicate well with a team Who This Is NOT For Someone who just wants to “clock in and out” Anyone who cuts corners or ignores small details People who aren’t comfortable learning new systems or improving workflows Someone who needs constant supervision to stay productive Requirements Basic understanding of measurements, tolerances, and material handling Ability to read shop drawings or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to lift materials and be on your feet throughout the day Reliable, consistent, and self‑motivated Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with CAD/CAM software Background in woodworking or cabinetry Familiarity with tool changes, feeds/speeds, and machine optimization Experience operating CNC machinery (woodworking preferred, but not required) Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to cut and process wood components Load materials, set up jobs, and ensure proper machine operation Read and interpret cut files, drawings, and production specs Inspect parts for accuracy and quality before moving to the next stage Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean Troubleshoot minor issues and report larger problems Work closely with the production team to keep workflow moving efficiently Company Overview Black Tie Tables is built on the belief that the experience matters just as much as the product.
