Machinist/CNC Operator
Modern Forge is actively recruiting Machinists/CNC Operators at our Illinois facility. This position is responsible for performing set up and operation of numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various functions.
A successful candidate must be able to read and interpret 3D models, use micrometers, gages, and other various inspection equipment to assure machining accuracy.
The individual must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and move throughout the duration of the shift.
Previous experience with CNC machines or education is a plus.
