Location Pembroke Pines, Florida Summary Evaluates and treats patient populations for physical therapy needs. Responsibilities Plans or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Provides information regarding appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support resources. Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition. Supervises activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to issues identified, required frequency of treatments, and involves the patient and family.
