Quality Inspector IThe Quality Inspector I supports the release and shipment of conforming, custom built commercial trucks in accordance with the company's established quality control protocols. They also perform quality control inspections, checks and verification tests of custom-built commercial vehicles. This includes visual, mechanical, electrical inspections, and system performance tests. Grow with us as we continue to expand our network of locations and services.KEY OBJECTIVESOther duties beyond this representative listing may be assigned to the essential job duties and responsibilities of this position based on Company needs.Essential Job Functions• Performs in-process and final inspections of aftermarket equipment installations; then performs functional tests for installed products as required.• Produces thorough and accurate inspection reports, ensuring satisfactory documentation as evidence.• Provides a consistent line of communication to the team to help ensure prompt resolution of defects and a high level of customer service.• Detects, and properly identifies, non-conforming products and materials, according to company policy.• Reads and comprehends quality related information such as Quality Alerts, deviations and recalls, etc.; where applicable, add daily inspection documentation.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESThe individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
