Through mentoring, networking, senior leader engagement, and community initiatives, you'll build valuable skills, expand your network, and discover what's possible across a global financial organization.About the Role:The Wealth Management Advisor Group (WMAG) is the growth engine for Ameriprise Financial and approximately 10,000 branded financial advisors who help clients plan to achieve their dreams and financial goals and a dedicated corporate staff focused on driving profitable growth in the employee and franchise advisor platforms.Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include:Coordinate with project leader to create and manage project plans and deliverables for advisors and internal stakeholdersSend communications and gather input from key stakeholders in projects/ on teamPartner with events group both on team and corporate event team to plan and execute on department and advisor Town Halls and other sales oriented eventsExamples of past intern projects include:Assist with Team Hall of Fame updates that showcase success stories and career path opportunities for internal team membersCreate and administer team contestsCollaborate on Town Halls / Events preparation support including assisting with strategy discussions, planning logistics, and execution of eventsRequired Qualifications:Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectivelyAbility to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with othersPreferred Qualifications:High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethicsProven organization skills and ability to manage time effectivelyExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with othersProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAdditional InformationThe company does not offer corporate undergraduate internships for students with F-1 visasIn-Office CollaborationWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
