Senior Firmware Engineer

We're seeking a Firmware Engineer to support the design, development, testing, integration, and installation of advanced systems for Navy platforms and defense applications. What You’ll Do Design and implement bare‑metal firmware in C for ARM Cortex‑M and other microcontroller architectures Develop drivers and low‑level interfaces for peripherals including SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC, PWM, and timer modules Profile and optimize code for performance, power consumption, and memory constraints Work closely with hardware engineers, systems architects, and product teams to translate requirements into firmware solutions Nice to Have, Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers (SWD, JTAG), and embedded testing frameworks to validate firmware functionality Job Requirements What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Hardware Design, Electromechanical Systems, or related engineering fields with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ months of experience with a Master's degree. 2+ years of experience creating mechanical designs, engineering drawings, models, or technical documentation. 2+ years of experience supporting product development, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, or systems integration activities. 1+ years of experience utilizing CAD software to create mechanical models and detailed drawings. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline. What Sets You Apart Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience.
