Wireless Network Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise wireless infrastructure across large-scale warehouse and operational environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity in high-density facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong Cisco wireless expertise, hands-on RF engineering experience, and a proven ability to resolve complex network issues in mission-critical environments

Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, manage, and support enterprise wireless networks across warehouse and large-facility environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Cisco Access Points.
• Diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity, routing, and performance issues impacting business operations.
• Manage and optimize wireless infrastructure using Cisco Catalyst Center.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience supporting warehouse or largefacility wireless networks
• Solid understanding of wireless fundamentals with experience troubleshooting routes, wireless systems, Cisco FTD and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
• Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLCs, Cisco access points, and enterprise wireless deployments
• Experience with RF engineering, including designing and implementing wireless networks with consideration for signal propagation, antenna placement, and environmental factors
• Experience working with Cisco Catalyst Center
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues in high-density or operational environments


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Proven experience using Ekahau for wireless validation and troubleshooting
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Experience using LogicMonitor or other network monitoring tools
