About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Lending Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales and lending efforts across commercial, specialty, and consumer lending, with a focus on maintaining the existing loan portfolio and meeting production targets. This role involves nurturing the current referral base, developing new channels, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming experience for customers. The Chief Lending Officer will also provide leadership and coaching to the lending team, manage the lending pipeline, and work closely with senior management to address major issues within the sales teams. Applicants for the Chief Lending Officer position at the company should be dynamic individuals with a passion for influencing their own development. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance, with a Master of Business Administration preferred, and at least ten years of commercial banking experience, including a minimum of five years in commercial credit. Direct lending and lending/sales management experience, as well as a background in consumer lending, are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in the Windows Office Suite is also a requirement.
