Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab reports
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance such as preparing surgical environments, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly desirable

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
