What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care in a hospital setting
• Support patients of all ages with benign and malignant hematology conditions
• Collaborate with attending physicians and support staff to develop patient treatment plans
• Manage total inpatient services, including hematology procedures
• Document patient interactions using EPIC EMR
• Assist in building the hospital’s bone marrow transplant program (knowledge preferred but not required)
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment

What You Need

Required:

• MN State license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with hematology patients (benign and malignant)

Preferred:

• Prior inpatient hematology/oncology experience
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

About the Assignment

This role is based in a top-tier, 686-bed hospital renowned for its hematology/oncology services. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting inpatient services, with coverage provided during daytime hours. The facility is committed to providing comprehensive patient care, including hematology procedures, and is focused on expanding its bone marrow transplant program. Support staff will include APPs to assist with inpatient care, offering a collaborative work environment.
