Carousel Cocktail Server - PART TIME- Sundays Required

Summary
This position is part-time.
The Carousel Waitstaff serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests seated at tables and bars, compute bill and accept payment, takes orders for and serve light meals and request identification from customers when legal age is in question.
Essential Functions
To perform the Carousel Waitstaff position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Carousel Waitstaff position are as follow:
• Welcome and greet guests; make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them
• Take beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our order/sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
• Deliver beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
• Maintain clean service areas
• Monitor and observe the dining experience of your guests; ensure that they are satisfied with the food and service; respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Prepare the bar bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
• Is ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise
• Is ready and willing to assist bus persons with clearing and resetting tables
• Thanks guests for their visit and invite them to return
• Is available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager of immediate supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned

Certificates and Licenses
The individual selected for the Carousel Cocktail Waitstaff position must:
• Possess a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor's Permit or
• Possess the ability and willingness to attend a Responsible Vendor's Class and pass the test with a score of 90% or better

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
