Director Risk and Compliance Operations

Intellia Therapeutics seeks a Director of Risk and Compliance Operations to lead enterprise-wide compliance program execution and operational excellence. This strategic leadership role emphasizes systems design, process governance, investigations oversight, and vendor management as the organization prepares for commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable compliance systems, processes, and governance structures aligned with regulatory expectations
• Oversee internal investigations program including case intake, evidence collection, case tracking, and remediation monitoring
• Establish data governance standards and reporting enablement across compliance systems to improve data quality and analytics
• Lead third-party risk management program covering intake, due diligence, governance, and vendor lifecycle management
• Partner cross-functionally to drive adoption of system and process enhancements and resolve operational challenges

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-risk cross-functional initiatives with strong influencing skills
• Strong project and program management expertise including scope, timeline, and stakeholder coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with analytics and work management tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments with flexibility and adaptability
• Experience building and maintaining professional relationships across functions and organizational levels
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
